These classes are only for students currently attending DCB as they follow the assessment calendar and cater for DCB’s exam and text choices.

With a maximum of just six students per group, you’ll get plenty of individual attention to help boost your confidence, sharpen your exam technique, and strengthen your all-round English skills.

Pre-IGCSE Group Class for Years 7-9

My Pre-IGCSE Group Class is perfect for students preparing for IGCSE First Language English and IGCSE English Literature.

In our class, we will build core skills needed for the IGCSEs: literary analysis; literary techniques and their effects; writing with concision and precision for a range of audiences and purposes; using a variety of vocabulary, punctuation and sentence structures for effect; and so on.

Students will receive lessons prepared and delivered by Sarah, a UK-qualified English teacher and IGCSE examiner. They will complete weekly homework tasks and receive feedback for improvement.

I’m currently registering interest and confirming availability. After that, I will request payment of 180 GBP for the first month of classes. If you would like your child to join my Pre-IGCSE class, get in touch with me ASAP.
